Seven swimmers from the Kilmore Swimming Club attended the annual Victorian Country Championships at Kardinia Park Geelong over the Australia Day weekend. Kardinia Park has a fantastic aquatic facility for a meet like this; a ten lane FINA pool for competition and the old eight lane pool for warm up and cool down.
The Kilmore team consisted of Alesha McIntosh, Alexandra Roberts, madeleine Rhodes, Tamara Bess, James Boland, Dylan Cornish and Lynton Pyle were treated to a highly professional meet along with coaches Jennifer Lone and Noelene Pyle.
