After a long season of hard swimming and an exciting club championships it was time for the Kilmore Swimming Club’s Annual Awards Evening. The swimmers and their families were rewarded for their efforts over the past season with a relaxing evening of good food and good company.
The most important part of any awards night is the awards! Below is a list of award recipients from the night:

The butterfly, backstroke and freestyle trophies are awarded to the swimmer who takes the most time off from one club championships to the next.

Dolphin: Awarded to Alana Cardamone.
Awarded to a 10 & under swimmer whom has worked hard in training and competition throughout the season, always a team player and supportive of their team members. This swimmer has to have been punctual and consistent in training and have supported the team throughout the pennant season.
Bartlette: Awarded to Niamh Ireland
Awarded to a swimmer who always tries, puts in their best in both training and competition although despite all efforts just does not get to the podium as there is always a faster swimmer.
Cartwight & Bruce Breaststroke Awards
Awarded to a swimmer who has had a goal of improving their breaststroke over the past season and has come close to and/or having achieved that goal.
Cartwright Breaststroke Award: Awarded to Emilie Cardamone
Bruce Breaststroke Award: Awarded to Patrick Kelly
Coaches Award: Awarded to Dylan Cornish
Awarded to the swimmer who has put in the effort throughout the year both in training and at competition and has improved their performance. This swimmer should have also been punctual and consistent at training and willing to do whatever they have been asked throughout the pennant season.
Pennant Awards: Cassidy Page, Bronwyn Mills and Nathan James
Pennant awards are awarded to swimmers who have competed for the club over the District Pennant Season. They have qualified for club championship but did not win their age group or overall champion. These swimmers have given their time, expertise, comradery and have been invaluable to the success of the team. Without team players we have no team. These trophies are awarded to these swimmers in recognition and appreciation of their contribution to the team. Thank you.
