Victorian Country Short Course Championships were held on 9th and 10th August at the Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre in Bendigo. The championships bring the best swimmers from regional (country) Victoria to complete for title of fastest swimmer in country Victoria.
Kilmore sent a small team of four swimmers to compete, Emilie and Alan Cardamone, Lucy Beaton and Aaron Jin. Over the weekend the swimmers competed in a total of 14 events with most swim resulting in personal best. Coach Lynton Pyle said ‘these swimmers have put in an enormous number of hours in and out of the pool, the results speak for themselves and are a testament to their dedication and hard work’.
